Sacral Chakra

The Sacral Chakra is the second of the seven main chakras. In Sanskrit, it is called Svadhishana which means sweetness. It is associated with Emotions, Feelings, Desires, and Sexuality.

An unbalanced Sacral Chakra can manifest in many different ways. Here are some signs of an unbalanced or blocked Sacral Chakra:

Emotional Signs:
insecurity, detachment, poor boundaries, jealousy, depression

Physical Signs:
anemia, fatigue, constipation, abnormal menstruation, infertility, urinary and/or kidney problems

Relative to Relationships (romantic, familial, friendship, etc)
obsessive &/or compulsive

Now you may be wondering how to balance or clear your Sacral Chakra, don’t worry… I’ve got you!

Activities to Balance/Clear your Sacral Chakra:
Exercise, Dance, Swimming, Bathing

Foods to Balance/Clear your Sacral Chakra:
Oranges, carrots, sweet potatoes, peaches, apricots, mangos, papayas, pumpkin, and mandarins. Fish, seeds, and nuts.

You can also work with the following crystals by placing one or two on your Sacral Chakra while you meditate, keeping them in your pocket/bra or even under your pillow when you sleep,

Carnelian, Tigers Eye, Amber, Orange Calcite, Unakite, Snowflake Obsidian
